Drywall sanding, sawing, and grout mixing create dust that's far finer than normal household dust. It floats longer, settles on every horizontal surface, and hides in places you don't think to wipe: on top of door frames and cabinets, inside drawers, in light fixtures, and deep in the air vents.
That's why a quick wipe-down doesn't hold. The dust you didn't reach keeps drifting back down onto the surfaces you already cleaned, and the HVAC system spreads it around every time it kicks on.
A proper post-construction clean works strictly top to bottom. High surfaces and fixtures come first, then walls and trim, then cabinets inside and out, then glass and windows, and floors always last. Vent covers get wiped, and it's a good time to replace your HVAC filter too.
It also takes a bit of patience. On bigger projects, a second light pass a few days later catches the dust that was still settling during the first visit.
Whether you just finished a kitchen remodel or you're a builder handing over a new home, we clean construction dust out of spaces across Little Rock and central Arkansas. Tell us about the project and we'll send a quote.
